We do not own our own diving centre, but are employed our friends who own dive centres in various locations throughout England, Egypt and Spain.
Diving History
Steve has been in the diving industry for many years. He became a PADI Instructor way back in 1991 after starting his own dive store in Essex. He is proud of the 5* IDC status his store achieved in 1993. He sold the store in 1996 to take up the position of Dive Centre Manager for Emperor Divers in Hurghada, Egypt. After 2 years, Steve missed teaching too much and swapped his Managers hat for the Chief Instructors hat. During this time Steve applied for and was accepted on the PADI Course Director Training Course (CDTC).

After 3 years in Egypt he returned to the UK and spent some time working for Regaldive, a UK diving Tour Operator. He then turned his focus away from diving, although not a complete change as he continued his love of teaching, but this time the subject matter was computer software and not diving skills. Diving remained in the forefront and diver training filled every weekend and most evenings until 2004 when Steve and Janet left their proper jobs to be a fulltime diving professionals once again.
In July 2004 Steve and Janet took up the position of Dive Centre Managers for Eco Divers in Manado, Indonesia. They experienced some awesome marine life but after 9 months decided to return to the UK to continue with their real love - Instructor training.
Today they are enjoying working full-time in the diving industry, teaching PADI professional level courses for dive centres in the UK and for Emperor Divers in Sharm, Egypt.

Emperor Divers Sharm, Egypt schedule five PADI Instructor Development Courses (PADI IDC's) during the calendar year and we teach all of those courses, so we get to top up our tans quite frequently. We also schedule PADI IDC's in Spain on the Costa Brava where the water is warm and the sun is always shining!
