New PADI Instructor at Emperor Divers, Sharm
Tom collects his certificate after qualifying as PADI Open Water Scuba Instructors. The two day exam followed the PADI Instructor Development Course with PADI Course Director Steve Prior in Sharm, Egypt. Congratulations all.
Specialty Instructor Training at Emperor Divers, Sharm
What a wonderful location to be learning all about teaching PADI Specialty Courses on board the Emperor Dive boats in the Red Sea. PADI Course Director Steve Prior uses his unique style to pass on his tips of the trade to Mick and Tom.

New PADI IDC Staff Instructor at Emperor Divers, Sharm
Congratulations to Ryan who has qualified as PADI IDC Staff Instructor. Ryan found the course a great way to refresh and further his understanding of the PADI teaching system. He has been a very active PADI Instructor for the past 4 years and was amazed that he learnt something new every single day of the course. He believes that diving professionals should attend a PADI IDC every year to renew their enthusiasm for the sport.

There’s plenty of fun and banter during this PADI IDC, dubbed the LIONS IDC as only the UK home nations are represented. During the Open Water Teaching Presentation, Tom takes control of Mick, who in turn, performs a rather perfect hover.

It’s not long into Steve’s IDC Prep Course before Mick is smiling from ear to ear. He is amazed that he understands those really difficult physics questions about lifting bags and by lunchtime he is calling himself a maths geek!
